Queens and Bronx, NY – Today the Cummings for Congress campaign announced that its first quarter FEC fundraising report, filed on March 31st, will show that John Cummings raised over $700,000 in the first three months of 2020.
The Cummings for Congress campaign has now received donations from more than 35,000 Americans from all 50 states. The total raised for the campaign now exceeds $1.6 million.
Former NYPD officer and current high school history teacher John Cummings said, “I am honored to have received donations from more than 35,000 Americans who believe in our campaign to restore honest representation to the people of The Bronx and Queens. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’s actions to delay Covid-19 relief legislation, in an attempt to add cash payments for illegal immigrants, have proven her to be an out of touch Washington insider who is willing to play political games while American citizens suffer. With the New York State Republican Party endorsement, and our nationwide grassroots support, we will defeat AOC this November.”
